Rules for the application of recommendation technologies
of HUB LLC
When using information technologies for content delivery on the «Tach» Service (tach.id), we collect, systematize, and analyze data related to the preferences of Internet users located in the Russian Federation.

Recommendation technologies select and suggest relevant content to users based on our knowledge of the user, the content, and the interaction between users and content.

Purposes of using recommendation technologies:

Increasing user engagement, increasing time spent on the platform, improving the relevance of search results and content feeds, and reducing the amount of unwanted and low-quality content.
Our Service uses a content display priority algorithm based on user engagement.

Recommendation technologies are used in the following sections of the platform:

· Search;
· Recommendations;
· Feed.

The use of recommendation technologies involves several key processes.

Information about the actions of all users is stored in the Service's databases. For example: comments or ratings of posts, the fact and time of viewing a post, and page visits.

Based on this data, a model is built using a content relevance algorithm to determine how interesting certain content is for viewing.

The Service has functionality for selecting/recommending high-quality content. This data is used for feed personalization: posts that ensure the display of relevant and high-quality content may be recommended in feeds.

The following data is used for recommendation technologies: ratings (likes, dislikes), content views, page clicks, subscriptions (to other users' accounts), content blocking, saves, shares, and comments.
To identify users (including unauthorized ones) and for additional personalization, we may also use information transmitted by the user's browser or device: device information, platform, operating system and browser, IP address, and cookie data.

The sources of this data are the user's behavior when interacting with the platform's functions in a browser or mobile applications for iOS and Android, as well as cookie files.

The Service does not use third-party analytics resources. The sources of such information are the user's actions on the «Tach» platform.

Data retention periods and deletion procedure:

The retention period for user behavioral data used for recommendation purposes is 12 (twelve) months from the date of the user's last interaction with content. The user has the right to request the complete deletion of their data used for recommendations by sending a written request to info@hublab.ru. Data is also automatically deleted when the user's account is deactivated or deleted.

Procedure for opting out of recommendation technologies and its consequences:

The user can disable recommendation technologies in the display settings section by clicking the "Sort by publication date: new first" button (chronological sorting). When personalization is disabled, content in the feed will be displayed strictly in chronological order without regard to user preferences. This may reduce the relevance of suggested posts. Refusing to use recommendation technologies does not affect the basic functionality of the Service (viewing content, managing subscriptions, creating publications) and does not entail restricted access to the platform.

User rights:

The user has the right to:
1. Know about the use of recommendation technologies on the platform and receive information about their purposes and operating algorithms.
2. Opt out of using recommendation technologies at any time in the manner specified in this Policy.
3. Request the deletion of their data collected for recommendation technologies by sending a request to info@hublab.ru.

Special provisions for the processing of minors' data:

In accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation, the processing of personal data and behavioral information of minor users (persons under 18 years of age) for the purposes of recommendation technologies is carried out exclusively with the consent of parents or legal guardians. By registering on the platform, the user confirms that they are at least 16 years old, and  that their parents or legal guardians have reviewed this Policy and have given their consent to the processing of data for the specified purposes. The Service reserves the right to request documented confirmation of such consent. In the absence of confirmation, the processing of a minor user's data for recommendation purposes may be limited or terminated.
